Trump continues to threaten tariffs and call Canada the "51st State" while this Sask. Party Government remains nowhere to be seen. The imposition of U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods is not merely an attack on trade it is an attack on the jobs, livelihoods, and sovereignty of the Canadian and Saskatchewan people.

We can’t wait for Premier Scott Moe to wake up and join Canada in a unified response. It is imperative that we stand united to protect our communities, our workers and their livelihoods. We need a clear and well-developed response to these tariffs immediately.

  1. Protect Saskatchewan jobs and livelihoods, by reconvening the Legislature for an emergency session to respond to President Trump’s tariffs and support Saskatchewan industries.
  2. Implement a Canada-first policy for government contracts.
  3. Remove inter-provincial trade barriers and prioritizing Saskatchewan/Canadian procurement.
  4. Bring the message directly to Americans, launching an advertising campaign in key states to Saskatchewan imports and exports, warning American consumers about the risk of higher fuel, energy, and food prices caused by tariffs and the opportunities we share when we work together.
